Associations are an essential link to our industry and community.
NCI believes strongly in staying connected. Being an active member of the IT Security community is also essential to the on-going education of our staff and the strength of our team. We are active members of the following associations:
HTCIA 
HTCIA (High Technology Crime Investigation Association), the world's largest organization for high technology crime investigators, is designed to encourage, promote, aid and affect the voluntary interchange of data, information, experience, ideas and knowledge about methods, processes, and techniques relating to investigations and security in advanced technologies among its membership. The HTCIA includes 37 active chapters worldwide.
CATA Alliance 
Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (CATAAlliance) is Canada's leading, most influential and entrepreneurial technology alliance.
FSP 
FSP ( Federation of Security Professionals) is a non-profit IT user group whose members consists of security administrators, security consultants, auditors, analysts, and security specialists from various Canadian and U.S. companies.
ISC 
The International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, Inc., or (ISC)², is a non-profit organization dedicated to:
- Maintaining the CBK (Common Body of Knowledge) for information security,
- Certifying industry professionals and practitioners under an international standard,
- Providing education,
- Administering certification examinations, and
- Ensuring the continued competence of credential holders.
Crime Stoppers 
Crime Stoppers is a partnership between the public, the police, and the media which provides the community with a proactive program for people to anonymously assist the police in solving crime.
ISACA 
Today, ISACA’s membership—more than 35,000 worldwide—is characterized by its diversity. Members live and work in more than 100 countries and cover a variety of professional IT-related positions, like: IS auditor, consultant, educator, IS security professional, regulator, chief information officer and internal auditor. Some are new to the field, others are at middle management levels and still others are in the most senior ranks. They work in nearly all industry categories, including financial and banking, public accounting, government and the public sector, utilities and manufacturing.
MISA
Municipal Information Systems Association (MISA) supports information sharing among those employed and involved in supporting information systems for Municipalities.
ASIS
ASIS International (ASIS) is the largest organization for security professionals, with more than 35,000 members worldwide. Founded in 1955, ASIS is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests, such as the ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits, as well as specific security topics.
