Security Assessments, Penetration testing, and Vulnerability Scanning ...

it security Is your IT security effective?
Find out where the vulnerabilities are.

Assessments can be done on your entire environment or on just a "business critical" section. Many organizations request annual security assessments as well as quarterly vulnerability scans.  Use a Security Assessment after a major network change to ensure your safeguards as still in place.

NCI's portfolio of IT Security Assessments includes:

IT Security Assessments
An IT Security Assessment is the most comprehensive security check of your computing environment. It examines all aspects of an organization's information systems and includes an investigation of your: policies, procedures, disaster recovery and business continuity plans, the network architecture, security device configurations, and the physical security of your business critical systems infrastructure.
Penetration Testing
Conducted without prior knowledge of the environment (blind), the penetration test identifies potential security holes and then exploits them to prove a vulnerability exists.
Vulnerability Scans
Quarterly scans of external and internal IP addresses (required by the PCI DSS) to ensure that configurations remain secure and that the required software patches are in place.
Threat Risk Assessment
A Threat Risk Assessment (TRA) examines a particular threat or piece of the corporate environment, e.g., “what if our headquarter building was destroyed by fire?” or “how easy would it be to steal or lose private customer data?” It provides the data required for risk management plans, and to best prioritize and direct investments in security improvements.
Wireless Security Assessment
NCI will perform a survey of your Wireless network, identify rogue Access Points and suggest ways to lock your environment down.
Policies and Procedures
The weakest link in security can often be the humans in your environment. Ensure they have the knowledge they need to be an active and supportive element of your security infrastructure.
