Information Security Specialist – Technical Account Lead

The Information Security Specialist – Technical Account Lead is the primary point of contact for Managed Services customers for problem and change management. This role provides consistent operational metrics and provides proactive guidance to the customer for their IT security infrastructure. This role is also responsible for developing, delivering security solutions and services such as networking, firewall, content security, IPS and other types of security projects as well as delivering superior service to NCI clients.

Responsibilities:

• You are the primary technical point of contact to monitor the customer’s IT security environment and provide technical guidance on their IT security infrastructure;
• Monitor the customer environment and ensure prompt response and resolution to drive customer satisfaction;
• Your responsibilities are highly project oriented covering project management, design, documentation and implementation for our services accounts;
• You will  work as part of a team consisting of Account Executives, technical staff and customers to deliver a variety of security services;
• You will be expected to meet and exceed customer expectations through accountability, responsiveness and creativity;
• Since customer service is of great importance at NCI, you enjoy client interaction, and appreciate the role of the client as part of the team.

Skills and Experience:

• The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of technical experience in IT infrastructure and IT Security
• Strong technology instincts coupled with industry skills and a track record of understanding IT Security Technology (Networking, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection, Content Filtering, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge IP routing / Firewall is required;
• CISSP or an equivalent certification is an asset
• Experience working for a Product Integrator / VAR is an asset;
• Ability to answer customers technical questions regarding network security problems, warranties and services
• Energetic, independent, highly accountable, self-managed person that knows how and when to engage with the team as a whole;
• Outstanding organization and time management skills and attention to detail;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
